Products Description
Polycarbonate is a type of polyester formed by connecting dihydric or polyhydric phenols via carbonate linkages. The standard general‑purpose grade is based on 2,2‑bis(4'-hydroxyphenyl)propane, also known as bisphenol A, with a fixed molecular structure.

Product Application
Polycarbonate is a widely used industrial plastic with excellent heat resistance and impact strength. It is compatible with standard processing methods including injection molding, tube or rod extrusion, and thermoforming. It is also suitable for optical applications, providing over 80% light transmission into the short‑wave infrared range up to 1560 nm. It shows moderate chemical resistance, stable against dilute acids and alcohols, but vulnerable to ketones, halogens, and concentrated acids.
