Products Description

Sodium hyaluronate, also known as hyaluronic acid sodium, is a physiologically active substance widely distributed in the humaleic-anhydride.html">man body. It is a high-molecular-weight linear mucopolysaccharide formed by the polymerization of glucuronic acid and acetylaminohexose, with a molecular weight of around 1 million. When dissolved in water, it forms a highly viscous and viscoelastic solution that matches physiological pH and ionic strength. Its flexible molecular structure allows injection through fine needles. Sodium hyaluronate does not trigger inflammatory responses. A solution prepared by dissolving 10 mg in 1 mL of normal saline shows a viscosity nearly 200,000 times higher than that of aqueous humor or saline.
