Benzylamine is a strongly alkaline aliphatic amine compound. It dissolves well in water, maleic-anhydride.html">material/ethanol.html">ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents. It can undergo neutralization, condensation, substitution and addition reactions, making it highly valuable in organic synthesis.
