Product Details
Diethylene glycol is a colorless liquid with higher density than water. Direct contact may cause mild irritation to skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Oral intake may present low toxicity, and it is widely used as a raw material for synthesizing other chemical products.

Product Application
Diethylene glycol (DEG) is a widely used solvent and raw material in many industrial and consumer goods. It serves as a dehydrant for natural gas treatment; a lubricant and finishing agent in textile processing; a component in brake fluids, lubricants, antifreeze, wallpaper removers and artificial smoke fluids; a solvent for printing inks and textile dyes; and an intermediate for manufacturing resins, triethylene glycol, surfactants, as well as diethylene glycol esters and ethers.
