Product Application

Glycerol serves as a key raw material for manufacturing nitroglycerin, glyceryl acetate, surfactants, flavors, alkyd resins and ester gums. It is widely applied in antifreeze formulations, cosmetics, printing inks and other fields.
It functions as a water retention agent for bread and cakes; a carrier solvent for flavors, pigments and water-soluble preservatives; a thickener for beverages and wine products; a plasticizer for candies, desserts and meat items; a sweetener; and a stationary phase for gas chromatography.
