Products Description
Glycerol is a colorless, viscous, hygroscopic, sweet trihydric alcohol, also commonly known as glycerin or glycerine. Glycerol is the preferred term for the pure chemical substance, while glycerin/glycerine is widely used for commercial grades in industrial and daily applications.

Product Application
Glycerol serves as a key raw material for manufacturing nitroglycerin, glyceryl acetate, surfactants, flavors, alkyd resins and ester gums. It is widely applied in antifreeze formulations, cosmetics, printing inks and other fields.
It functions as a water retention agent for bread and cakes; a carrier solvent for flavors, pigments and water-soluble preservatives; a thickener for beverages and wine products; a plasticizer for candies, desserts and meat items; a sweetener; and a stationary phase for gas chromatography.
