Product Details
Diethyleneglycol diformaleic-anhydride.html">mate, also known as DEGDF with CAS number 120570-77-6, is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid with a molecular formula of C₆H₁₀O₅ and a molecular weight of 162.14 g/mol. Its key physical and chemical properties include a density of 1.147 g/cm³ at 20°C, a boiling point of 209–210°C, a flash point of 99°C, and a refractive index of 1.4403 at 20°C, which is miscible with water and polar organic solvents. With a purity of ≥95% (up to ≥98% for pharmaceutical intermediate grade), it is widely used as a resin and polymer intermediate for synthesizing polyamide, polyester and epoxy resins, as well as a solvent in paints, inks and adhesives, a plasticizer for PVC and PVA, a lubricant additive, and a pharmaceutical intermediate. It is packaged in 1kg-25kg plastic drums for small scale and 200kg-1000kg iron drums or IBC totes for industrial scale, and should be stored in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area away from heat and open flames, with proper personal protective equipment used during handling to avoid skin and eye contact.
