Product Application of L-Phenylalanine CAS#63-91-2
L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid. In biological systems, L-Phenylalanine is converted into L-tyrosine, another DNA-encoded amino acid. L-tyrosine is further transformed into L-DOPA and then into key neurotransmitters including dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. L-Phenylalanine is widely manufactured for medical, feed, and nutritional uses, including the production of Aspartame.
