Product Details
Neopentyl glycol is a white, crystalline, hygroscopic solid with low volatility. It is readily soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, and isopropanol, slightly soluble in diethyl ether. It is widely used in the synthesis of saturated polyester resins, polyurethane foams, plasticizers, lubricants, and coatings. It imparts excellent hardness, flexibility, weather resistance, and chemical stability to polymers due to its unique neopentyl structure.
