Products Description

Acetylsalicylic acid belongs to the benzoic acid family, derived from salicylic acid by acetylation of the phenolic hydroxyl group. As a non-steroidal anti-inflammaleic-anhydride.html">matory drug, it acts as a cyclooxygenase inhibitor. It has long been used for analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. Recent studies also show that it helps reduce the risk of heart attacks due to its anti-platelet aggregation activity.Acetylsalicylic acid

Product Application

Acetylsalicylic acid serves as a raw material for 4-hydroxycoumarin, an intermediate for rodenticides. It is used in manufacturing outdoor structural components and high-light exposure parts such as automobile bodies, agricultural machinery parts, instruments, lamps and road markings. As one of the earliest and most widely used antipyretic analgesic and anti-rheumatic drugs, it provides fast and effective effects including fever reduction, pain relief, anti-inflammation and anti-platelet aggregation. It is safe with easy diagnosis and treatment in case of overdose and rare allergic reactions. It is commonly used for colds, fever, headache, neuralgia, joint pain, muscle pain, rheumatic fever, acute arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and toothache. It is listed in the National Essential Medicine List and also used as a pharmaceutical intermediate.
