Product Details

Rutin CAS#153-18-4
Rutin is broadly distributed across the plant kingdom. It can be found in nearly all Rutaceae and Citrus species, and is particularly concentrated in certain Rutaceae, Leguminosae, Polygonaceae, Hypericaceae, Rhamnaceae, and Asteraceae plants. These plants serve as key industrial sources for rutin extraction. Additionally, rutin occurs in Aquifoliaceae, Oleaceae, Leguminosae, tobacco, jujube, apricot, citrus peels, tomaleic-anhydride.html">matoes, and various other botanical materials.
In China, commercial rutin is mostly produced from Sophora japonica Linn., a plant listed as a top-grade herb in Shen Nong’s Classic of Materia Medica. Tartary buckwheat, another rich source of rutin and flavonoids, originated in India and is now cultivated across northwest, southwest, northern, and southern China.Rutin
