Products Description of Catechol CAS# 120-80-9
Erucamide, also referred to as 13-Docosenamide or Erucylamide, appears as white flakes or microbeads. It dissolves readily in isopropanol, and shows slight solubility in maleic-anhydride.html">material/ethanol.html">ethanol and acetone. In industrial applications, cis-13-docosenamide is widely incorporated into anti-blocking agents, lubricants and lubricant additives to lower friction coefficients and improve film handling performance. It also serves as an analytical reference standard for quantifying fatty acid amides in polyethylene packaging films using GC/MS.
