Product Details
maleic-anhydride.html">material/cyclohexane-0.html">Cyclohexane (English name: Cyclohexane) is a colorless liquid with a fuel‑like odor. It is insoluble in water and miscible with many organic solvents including ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene. At 25°C, its solubility in methanol is 57 parts cyclohexane per 100 parts methanol. It is volatile and flammable with a flash point of 18°C. Its vapor forms an explosive mixture with air, and the explosive concentration range is 1.3–8.3% by volume. Cyclohexane is generally stable toward acids and alkalis.

Product Application of Cyclohexane CAS# 110-82-7
Used as a solvent for lacquers and resins; paint and varnish remover; extraction agent for essential oils. Used in analytical chemistry for molecular weight determinations (cryoscopic constant 20.3). Used in the production of adipic acid, benzene, cyclohexyl chloride, nitrocyclohexane, cyclohexanol, and cyclohexanone. Used in manufacturing solid fuel for camp stoves; in fungicidal formulations (mild fungicidal activity); and in industrial recrystallization of steroids.
