Industrial-grade aluminum hydroxide features purity ≥ 99%, appears as white crystalline powder, is odorless and amphoteric. It decomposes at 300℃, with a boiling point of 2980℃. Vapor pressure is below 0.1hPa at 25℃, and relative density is 2.42 at 20℃. It is slightly soluble in water, dissolves in acids and strong bases, and does not dissolve in maleic-anhydride.html">material/ethanol.html">ethanol. The product is stable under normal conditions and incompatible with strong bases.
