Daidzein CAS#486-66-8
Daidzein is primaleic-anhydride.html">marily derived from legume plants including soybeans red clover and various Pueraria roots. Its medicinal benefits were first documented in the Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing dating back to 2838 BC. As one of the key soy isoflavones it serves as a major active component in Pueraria lobata the dried root of the kudzu vine a traditional herb known for clearing heat generating body fluids and relieving diarrhea. Pueraria root contains a complex mix of compounds such as puerarin xyloside soy flavonoids soybean flavonoid glycosides beta-sitosterol daidzin and daidzein with puerarin and daidzein being the primary effective ingredients.

Product Application of Daidzein CAS#486-66-8
Daidzein is classified as an isoflavone. It and related compounds like genistein are found in many plants and herbs. Soy isoflavones are a group of components extracted from soybeans. Daidzein acts as an inactive analog of Genistein Cat #G350000. It can block the G1 phase of the cell cycle in Swiss 3T3 cells by suppressing casein kinase II activity. Additionally it has been found to inhibit GABA action on recombinant GABAA receptors. UV max 250 nm log e 4.44
